Tour Plan

Arrive at Paro by one of the most scenic flights in the Himalayas, offering breathtaking views of snow-capped peaks and lush valleys. After completing immigration formalities, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative and driven to Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan. En route, stop at Chuzom, where the Paro and Thimphu rivers meet, marked by beautifully crafted stupas of Tibetan, Nepalese, and Bhutanese styles. You will also pass by Tamchog Lhakhang, a historic 15th-century temple. Upon arrival in Thimphu, check into your hotel and enjoy a cultural lunch experience at Simply Bhutan Museum, a living museum that showcases Bhutanese traditions and heritage. In the evening, take a leisurely walk through Thimphu’s main street and local markets, where you can explore traditional handicrafts and interact with locals. Overnight stay in Thimphu.

After breakfast, proceed for a full-day sightseeing tour of Thimphu valley. Visit the National Library of Bhutan, which houses a vast collection of ancient Buddhist manuscripts, followed by the Institute for Zorig Chusum, where students are trained in Bhutan’s traditional arts and crafts. Continue to the Textile Museum to learn about Bhutan’s rich weaving traditions. Later, visit Buddha Dordenma, an enormous statue offering panoramic views of the valley. You will also explore the King's Memorial Chorten, a spiritual landmark, and the majestic Tashichho Dzong, which houses government offices and the King’s throne room. Overnight stay in Thimphu.

After breakfast, drive to Punakha via the scenic Dochula Pass (3,080 meters), where on a clear day you can enjoy spectacular views of the Himalayan range. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and proceed to visit the magnificent Punakha Dzong, beautifully located at the confluence of two rivers. Later, take a short excursion to Chimi Lhakhang, also known as the Temple of Fertility, walking through scenic rice fields and traditional villages. The peaceful surroundings and glimpses of rural Bhutanese life make this visit truly special. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay in Punakha.

After breakfast, drive back to Paro along a scenic mountain highway. En route, visit Simtokha Dzong, the oldest fortress in Bhutan, now used as a center for Buddhist learning. Upon arrival in Paro, check into your hotel and later visit the Ta Dzong National Museum, which houses an impressive collection of artifacts, followed by a short walk to Rinpung Dzong, a beautiful fortress known for its intricate architecture and rich history. Overnight stay in Paro.

After breakfast, embark on a memorable excursion to the iconic Tiger’s Nest Monastery (Taktsang Monastery), perched dramatically on a cliff 900 meters above the valley. The hike to this sacred site is both rewarding and spiritually uplifting, offering stunning views along the way. According to legend, Guru Rinpoche meditated here after arriving on the back of a tigress, making it one of Bhutan’s most revered pilgrimage sites. Later, visit Kyichu Lhakhang, one of the oldest temples in Bhutan, symbolizing the introduction of Buddhism in the region. Overnight stay in Paro. Optional Excursion: Haa Valley via Chele La Pass An optional full-day excursion can be arranged to the scenic Haa Valley via the breathtaking Chele La Pass (approx. 3,800 meters), one of the highest motorable passes in Bhutan. The drive offers spectacular panoramic views of the Himalayan ranges, including glimpses of Mount Jomolhari on clear days, along with forests of pine, rhododendron, and fluttering prayer flags. Haa Valley, one of Bhutan’s most untouched and least-visited regions, is known for its pristine natural beauty, traditional villages, and peaceful atmosphere. You can explore local monasteries, interact with villagers, and experience authentic Bhutanese rural life. After enjoying the serene surroundings, return to Paro by evening.

After breakfast, transfer to Paro Airport for your onward journey. Depart with unforgettable memories of Bhutan’s serene landscapes, rich cultural heritage, and spiritual charm.
