Upon arrival in Colombo, you will be warmly welcomed and transferred to Chilaw. Visit the sacred Munneswaram Temple and Manavari Temple, both important Ramayana sites associated with Lord Rama. Enjoy the serene surroundings and local culture before an overnight stay in Chilaw.
After breakfast, proceed to Jaffna. Explore the historic Jaffna Fort and the revered Nallur Kandaswamy Temple. Visit Nagadeepa Temple, a sacred site linked to the Ramayana. Overnight stay in Jaffna.
Today continues from Jaffna to Trincomalee and visit the magnificent Thiru Koneswaram Temple, a sacred site associated with Lord Shiva and the Ramayana perched dramatically above the sea. Later explore the famous Nilaveli Beach and the enchanting Pigeon Island National Park. Overnight stay in Trincomalee.
After breakfast travel to Habarana, a small town near Sigiriya. Explore the magnificent Sigiriya Rock Fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Enjoy the stunning views from the top and learn about the ancient history of this place. Visit the Dambulla Cave Temple, another UNESCO World Heritage Site. See the amazing Buddhist paintings and statues that fill the caves. Later travel to Kandy, the cultural capital of Sri Lanka and also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Overnight stay in Kandy.
In Kandy, we will visit the revered Temple of the Tooth, which houses the sacred tooth relic of Lord Buddha. This spiritual landmark holds great significance for Buddhists worldwide. Also explore other iconic attractions in Kandy, including the serene Kandy Lake and the beautiful Royal Botanical Gardens. In the evening, we will enjoy a mesmerizing cultural dance performance, showcasing traditional Sri Lankan music and dance forms. Overnight stay in Kandy.
Continues travel from Kandy to Nuwara Eliya. Visit the Sita Amman Temple, believed to be the place where Sita, the wife of Lord Rama, was held captive by King Ravana. We will also explore Ashoka Vatika, a serene garden said to be the former location of Sita's captivity and the sacred Gayathri Peedam. Also have an opportunity to explore the famous tourist attractions in Nuwara Eliya, known as "Little England" for its charming colonial-era architecture and beautiful tea plantations, and visit the Hanuman Temple located there. Overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya.
From Nuwara Eliya, we will travel to the sacred town of Kataragama. En-route visit the Rawana cave and Rawana water fall. In Kataragama, we will visit the revered Kataragama Temple, dedicated to Lord Murugan, a significant deity associated with the Ramayana. The temple attracts devotees from different faiths, fostering a sense of spiritual unity. Overnight stay in Kataragama.
Morning visit Yala National Park before making your way to Bentota. Explore Bentota Beach - known for its golden sands and tranquil atmosphere, enjoy a river safari on Madu River, and visit a turtle hatchery in Kosgoda. Overnight stay in Bentota.
Proceed to Colombo for a city tour covering Galle Face Green, Viharamahadevi Park, Colombo National Museum, Lotus Tower, Independence Square and various Buddhist, Hindu, Islamic, and Christian places of worship. Evening free at leisure. Overnight stay in Colombo.
