Tour Plan

After arriving at Varanasi airport, meet our representative and transfer to your hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure to relax after your journey or explore the nearby surroundings at your own pace. Depending on your arrival time, you may enjoy a leisurely walk along the ghats or visit local cafés overlooking the Ganges. Overnight stay in Varanasi.

Begin your day before dawn with one of Varanasi's most iconic experiences—a sunrise boat ride on the sacred River Ganges. As the rising sun bathes the ancient ghats in golden light, witness pilgrims taking holy dips, priests performing morning rituals, and locals beginning their day along the riverfront. Cruise past the city's most significant ghats, including Assi Ghat, Dashashwamedh Ghat, Manikarnika Ghat, Harishchandra Ghat, and Panchganga Ghat, each reflecting a unique aspect of Varanasi's spiritual traditions. After breakfast, embark on a guided heritage walk through the old city, wandering through narrow lanes filled with ancient shrines, bustling markets, hidden courtyards, and traditional sweet shops. Visit the revered Kashi Vishwanath Temple, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas dedicated to Lord Shiva, followed by Annapurna Temple and Vishalakshi Temple. Continue to the Banaras Hindu University campus to explore the magnificent New Vishwanath Temple and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. In the evening, experience the breathtaking Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat, where priests perform an elaborate ritual with oil lamps, rhythmic chants, bells, and devotional music, creating one of India's most memorable spiritual spectacles. Overnight stay in Varanasi.

After breakfast, travel to Sarnath, one of Buddhism's holiest pilgrimage destinations, where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon after attaining enlightenment. Explore the Dhamek Stupa, Chaukhandi Stupa, Mulagandha Kuti Vihara, the Archaeological Museum, and the remains of Emperor Ashoka's pillar, each offering fascinating insight into India's Buddhist heritage. Later, visit the historic Ramnagar Fort, the former residence of the Maharaja of Varanasi, overlooking the River Ganges. The fort houses an impressive museum displaying royal artefacts, vintage automobiles, manuscripts, weapons, and antique collections. In the afternoon, visit a traditional Banarasi silk weaving workshop to witness skilled artisans creating the world-famous Banarasi silk sarees using techniques passed down through generations. The evening is free to browse local markets for silk textiles, brassware, wooden handicrafts, and traditional souvenirs. Overnight stay in Varanasi.

Today is dedicated to experiencing the cultural soul of Varanasi beyond its famous monuments. Start the morning with an optional yoga or meditation session overlooking the River Ganges before exploring local neighbourhoods known for their traditional craftsmanship. Visit Durga Temple, Tulsi Manas Mandir, Sankat Mochan Hanuman Temple, and Bharat Mata Temple, each representing a unique chapter in the city's religious and cultural history. Continue your exploration with a guided street food walk, sampling authentic Banarasi specialities such as kachori sabzi, tamatar chaat, Banarasi lassi, seasonal malaiyyo, and the city's famous paan. Spend the afternoon at leisure for photography, shopping, or simply soaking in the peaceful atmosphere along the ghats. As your journey draws to a close, enjoy a final evening beside the sacred Ganges, reflecting on the timeless traditions and unforgettable experiences of Varanasi before returning to your hotel for the night.

After breakfast, check out of your hotel and transfer to Varanasi airport for your onward journey, taking with you unforgettable memories of India's spiritual capital.
