This morning, drive to Vaishali, a place of immense significance in Buddhist history where Lord Buddha gave his last sermon and announced his impending Mahaparinirvana. Highlights here include the Ashoka Pillar, Lotus Tank, and Chaumukhi. Continue your journey to Kushinagar, the sacred site where Lord Buddha attained Mahaparinirvana. After breakfast, visit Kushinagar’s important sites including the Mahaparinirvana Temple, the Ramabhar Stupa, and various monasteries supported by Japan and Sri Lanka. Later, drive across the border to Nepal to reach Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord Buddha.
