Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, our representative will welcome you with warm hospitality and transfer you to your hotel. After refreshments and a briefing about your journey, you can spend the evening exploring the bustling streets of Thamel, a lively neighborhood filled with handicraft shops, cafés, and restaurants. It is the perfect introduction to the energy and culture of Nepal before retiring for an overnight stay in Kathmandu.
After breakfast, explore Kathmandu's most revered spiritual and cultural landmarks. Visit the sacred Pashupatinath Temple, the holy Budhanilkantha (Sleeping Vishnu Temple), the magnificent Boudhanath Stupa, the hilltop Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple), and the historic Kathmandu Durbar Square, a UNESCO World Heritage Site showcasing Nepal's rich architectural heritage.
This morning after breakfast, embark on a scenic drive towards Pokhara. En route, stop at Kurintar to take a thrilling cable car ride up to the sacred Manakamana Temple, where devotees pray for wishes to be fulfilled. After darshan and an optional lunch, continue the picturesque journey along winding roads and river valleys, reaching Pokhara by evening. Upon arrival, check into your lakeside hotel and unwind with views of the tranquil Phewa Lake. *** For a faster and more comfortable journey, an optional 25-minute flight between Kathmandu and Pokhara is also available.
Rise early and begin the adventurous drive through the mountains to Jomsom, a gateway to the Mustang region. From here, continue to the revered Muktinath Temple, a sacred site for both Hindus and Buddhists, where pilgrims bathe under the 108 stone water spouts and pray for liberation. After an early breakfast, retrace your scenic drive back to Pokhara, arriving by afternoon. Following check-in and a short rest, set out to explore Pokhara’s highlights. Visit the roaring Devi’s Fall and the mysterious Gupteshwor Cave, home to a revered Shiva shrine. Continue to the Bindhyabasini Temple, one of Pokhara’s most important religious sites, and admire the dramatic Seti River Gorge. The day concludes with a visit to the Pokhara Museum, which showcases the culture and history of the region, before returning to your hotel for the night.
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before departing for Kathmandu. The full-day drive takes you through scenic hills, rivers, and villages, offering a glimpse of Nepal’s natural charm along the way. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, check into your hotel and enjoy the evening at leisure, perhaps shopping in Thamel’s vibrant markets or savoring local delicacies at a traditional Nepali restaurant.
After breakfast, it is time to bid farewell to Nepal. You will be transferred to Tribhuvan International Airport for your onward flight, taking home cherished memories of Nepal's sacred temples, majestic Himalayan scenery, vibrant culture, and unforgettable pilgrimage experiences.
