Arrive at Leh Airport, where our representative warmly welcomes you and assists with your transfer to the hotel. Nestled amidst towering mountains at an altitude of approximately 3,500 meters, Leh offers a mesmerizing introduction to the mystical landscapes of Ladakh. Due to the high altitude, the day is reserved for relaxation and acclimatization. Enjoy a leisurely lunch at the hotel and spend the remainder of the day soaking in the serene Himalayan atmosphere. After breakfast, embark on a fascinating full-day exploration of Ladakh’s most celebrated monasteries. Begin with Shey Palace, the former summer residence of Ladakhi kings, renowned for its towering gold-gilded Buddha statue. Continue to the stunning Thiksey Monastery, dramatically perched atop a hill and often compared to the Potala Palace of Tibet due to its magnificent architecture. Later, visit Hemis Monastery, Ladakh’s wealthiest and most famous monastery, known for its annual Hemis Festival and sacred Buddhist relics.
