Upon arrival at Chandigarh Airport or Railway Station, meet our representative and begin your scenic drive to Manali, passing through picturesque valleys, charming mountain villages, and the beautiful Beas River. Arrive in the popular Himalayan hill station by evening and check into your hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure to relax and acclimatize. Overnight stay in Manali.
Begin your legendary Trans-Himalayan journey after an early breakfast. Cross the famous Rohtang Pass (3,978 m) before driving through Keylong, Jispa, and Darcha, where the lush green valleys gradually give way to the stark beauty of the high-altitude desert. Continue across the spectacular Baralacha La Pass (4,890 m) before arriving at Sarchu, located on the border of Himachal Pradesh and Ladakh. Overnight stay in deluxe fixed camp at Sarchu.
Today's drive is among the most dramatic in the Himalayas. Cross the breathtaking Nakee La and Lachulung La Pass, followed by the vast plains of Morey Plains (Skyangchu Thang). Continue across Tanglang La (5,328 m), one of the highest mountain passes on the Leh-Manali Highway, before descending into the Indus Valley and arriving in Leh, the historic capital of Ladakh. Overnight stay in Leh.
Spend a relaxed morning acclimatizing to the high altitude. In the afternoon, visit the beautiful Shanti Stupa, offering panoramic views of Leh town and the surrounding mountains. Continue to Leh Palace, a 17th-century royal residence overlooking the city, followed by a stroll through the colourful Leh Market. If time permits, visit the historic Hall of Fame Museum, dedicated to the Indian Army and the history of Ladakh. Overnight stay in Leh.
Drive towards the world-famous Pangong Lake, crossing the spectacular Chang La Pass (5,360 m), one of the highest motorable roads in the world. Witness the breathtaking turquoise waters of Pangong stretching across India and Tibet, changing colours throughout the day. Spend the evening soaking in the serenity of this magnificent high-altitude lake. Overnight stay in deluxe fixed camp at Pangong (Spangmik/Tangtse).
After sunrise over Pangong Lake, return to Leh. En route, visit two of Ladakh's most celebrated monasteries—Hemis Monastery, the region's largest and wealthiest monastery, and the magnificent Thiksey Monastery, renowned for its impressive architecture and giant Maitreya Buddha statue. Overnight stay in Leh.
After breakfast, drive across the legendary Khardung La Pass (5,359 m), among the world's highest motorable roads, offering spectacular Himalayan panoramas. Descend into the enchanting Nubra Valley, famous for its sand dunes, lush villages, and dramatic mountain scenery. Visit Samstanling Monastery near Sumur before continuing to Diskit or Hunder. Overnight stay in Nubra Valley.
This morning, visit the impressive Diskit Monastery, home to the towering Maitreya Buddha overlooking the valley. Later, experience a memorable ride on the unique double-humped Bactrian camels across the sand dunes of Hunder, once part of the ancient Silk Route. In the afternoon, drive back to Leh via Khardung La Pass. Overnight stay in Leh.
